a look into the brand of RMW architecture + interiors and how their story is told through more
than just words

For over 55 years, RMW has been bringing their clients’ visions to life through bespoke designs. They have created award-winning designs in various sectors of architecture and interiors.

To effectively maintain the brand, it’s crucial to distinguish and understand their voice. As a people-oriented company, RMW’s marketing materials are designed to feel approachable yet succinct, giving everything a human touch.

As a core member of the marketing team, I have strategized, applied, and implemented the RMW brand across countless client-facing documents and internal platforms.

Proposals, presentations, web + social media posts, company swag, and any other collateral designed in-house all follow RMW’s visual identity while also feeling authentic to the brand.

See examples of presentation and proposal templates below.

RMW’s visual identity employs a black and white theme that feels sophisticated, refined, and timeless. To add warmth to the graphic identity, I developed a color palette that aligns to the brand’s approachable and trustworthy nature.

These colors have since been applied to multiple firmwide applications, project-wise and marketing-wise, shown in these two examples.

During the summer time, RMW looks for interns as an opportunity to gain short-term project assistance, which provides soon-to-be-graduates with professional work experience.

I designed the visuals and social media campaign rollout of the Summer Internship announcement via Instagram.

As an angle to appeal to students and new grads, the campaign tells the stories of current full-time staff who interned at RMW in the past.

The Instagram post is composed of a main feed post and Stories posts that were shared every few days. This elongated rollout kept RMW’s Instagram relevant over a longer period of time, hoping to maximize the reach of prospective students and potential future staff members.

Past Stories were saved to the RMW account’s Highlights so they could be viewed together, past their expiration.

studio environmental graphics

When RMW moved into their new San Francisco
studio, I designed environmental graphics to help:

  1. improve wayfinding in the new office

  2. identify designated collaboration spaces

Meeting room signage was designed to be minimal, utilizing a single graphic element, a crop mark, to represent the identifier of the labeled room/space.

Using clear language, measurements, and images, an installation guide directed the installer per RMW’s detail.

Graphics for tv displays were created to define collaboration spaces and provide instructions on how to connect one’s laptop to the big screen.
